Novartis Campus - Square 3

Square 3 is the first of the new buildings on the Novartis Campus which is not situated on Fabrikstrasse. The building is intended for administrative purposes. The Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki has created an abstract white transparent building volume that marks the beginning of the further development of the campus’s eastern site, towards the Rhine.

Fumihiko Maki has received numerous awards for his buildings, above all in Japan, the US and Germany; he was awarded the 1993 Pritzker Prize.
